Hey guys

I have a dual display setup, one of the displays broke ( for a few days kept on switching on off from time to time then all kinds of lines appeared on it ). I turned it off, and unplugged it from my PC. Then at night, I did the daily PC restart, and when wanting to start Plex on a TV, noticed that it's not available, so when I checked the PC, it wasn't posting anymore. I managed to make the PC start by unplugging the display before starting, waiting for it to post, then plugging it in. It worked fine, GPU tests showed no issues.

Being a smartypants, today I did a DDU on normal mode, couldn't enter Safe mode the usual way because it didn't see my display. Now, after the DDU, I can't do the plug unplug display trick anymore.

My configuration
Gigabyte 3600ti
5900x CPU
MB MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS
Samsung 980 PRO, 1TB, NVMe, M.2
Seasonic Focus+, Gold, 850w
G.Skill Ripjaws V Black 2x16 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL16
Windows 10 Pro

Now, I have a spare Nvidia GT430 with which I can start the system, problem is that when using it, the BIOS moves to CSM non UEFI something like that (no GOP, Graphical Output Protocol on this card bla bla), and when I enter Windows, it doesn't see the 3600ti.
I don't have another tower where the 3600ti can fit to test it if it went south or not.

Any advice on how to check it before sending it to warranty? It's like 6 months old only. No mining, nothing on it, regular gaming and working.

I have reset the CMOS (or I think I did it, I didn't check the version number in BIOS, will do now. I both removed the battery for 5 10 minutes, while also pressing the the CMOS reset button on the MB for 20 seconds).
I DDUed the PC again this time from safe mode, while running the GT430. I moved the 3600ti to the other slot on the MB, to see if it works there, nope it doesn't.

After backing up some stuff I will try a fresh Windows too. I am also reviewing again this thread regarding a similar 3060ti issue: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/pc-will-not-post-after-gpu-upgrade.3727752/#post-22476579

Thank you. Let me know if you need anything else.

EDIT: Just checked the BIOS, and it's still the latest version. Have to do it again, not sure what I did wrong.
