Changed for a new hard drive after un registry failure. After the installation of the OS with my back up CDs. My pc made the configuration then restarted.

Aftrr that it won't go pass the Asus display when the computer start. Cant access the bios.

Tried the CMOS jumper but it didn't help.

Any guess what is the problem/how to slove it?

Motherboard h87m-plus
Graphic card radeon hd 5770
Cpu is at least an i5 (dont remember which one exactly)
The new hard drive is a WD blue 6gb/s of 1 To
Acer keyboard which came with the gateway i had before all the upgrades
mouse razor naga

I can access bios if i unplug the new hard drive. I successfully installed windows before it shut itself down to configure it in the final step.

Thank you for your time already :)

BIOS jumper? Have you tried taking the battery out of the mb completely . 15 minutes disconnected from the power as well of course

you have a dvd of windows?
Put it in the drive and power on using the power button .

If that doesnt work install a linux distro [ probably ubuntu] on a usb stick and boot from that .
Then copy all the data files you have to save and format the windows C drive to the default linux file system .
When you start again windows will want to rewrite the partition and install .

If that doesnt work then the mb is bricked because the BIOS update failed
