^ spreadsheet of base systems I made

I have a case, fans, and psu, and a GTX 1050ti SC

Any CHEAP systems that will be able to play Elite Dangerous, World of tanks, and Rocket League, and soon Overwatch, at at least 60fps
Try to make it at less of a cost then the most expensive one on the spreadsheet
All of the games need a quadcore so, that makes it a bit more costly.

The reason the motherboards are so cheap is because most motherboards have $30 when paired with a compatible proccessor on microcenter

The sheet is editable, put systems in the same format as I did, please dont grief it :/

Solution
I'm actually interested in buying that motherboard and throwing another Xeon 5450 for myself. But that's beside the point.

Again, try and get rid of the GTX 1050 Ti. That thing just gets beaten by the RX 470 in every scenario, and AMD usually gets destroyed in games where it still depends on DX11. For the other upgrades...

One sec, my school is retarded with permissions, Im on a bit of a budget and the TI does everything I need so far

just to play games. no streaming. no hosting multuplayer servers or anything like that?.
then an i3 @4.0ghz with hyper-threading will be enough for most games. paired with ddr3 1600 @the lowest latencys you can find.
gpu wise any 150-200 pound maxwell/kepler or amd rx280/380 or better will do 1080p gaming at high settings in newer games 30+ fps in the newest AAA titles. and well over 60+ in the games you mention.

Why get overclockable i5s if you aren't getting Z chipsets?

And just use PCPartPicker. You have more shop options so stuff could be cheaper. And also, sell that GTX 1050 Ti. You can probably get a RX 480 with costs savings by going for something like an i5-7500.

Umm... recording for youtube, yes maybe, and I dont think hosting a lan game of age of empires 2 will kill it

now ive seen your choices get the best newest architecture you can afford.
so the i5 7600k would be the better choice.
also that cooler while cheap doesnt work to well on the 7600k
there are better options of you can do another 10 dollars on the cooler.

the 4960k is a good option but needs an oc motherboard to get the best out of it. the board listed aint that...
the 6600k is also a good option but again you will need an oc board to get the best of it.

I already have a system built btw.

Intel S5000PSL
2x Xeon 5450 @ 3.0 GHZ
GTX 1050ti SC
750W evga psu
2x 1TB 7.2k rpm
32gb Samsung FB-DIMM ddr2

Im just having so many problems because its a server, and I dont think Ill be able to sell it

what are the OC able motherboards listed at? X or something? and what cooler would you recommend

Running win10
And it is "stable" sometimes I get bios issues, sometimes windows doesnt want to see my gpu, sometimes ill get a bsod. But when it works it awesome, world of tanks doesnt get 60 fps becuase it only uses 1-2 cores and the x5450 has kinda low single core performence becuase server workloads use meny cores. and latly, instead of 200+ fps on elite im getting 40+- adn world of tanks fps jumps around, as low as 40 and as high as 120

This would give you the same features as the $350 and the $330 options while having virtually identical performance with the i5-4690K and i5-6600K.

Solution
fing linustechtips giving me the BRIGHT idea that building a server for cheap will solve my problems of crappy prebuilts.....

Of course his system works perfectly, mine is under repair my me at least once a week..... when it works it works but its about as temperamental as a baby

Ill sell you my mobo cpu and ram xD just remember that FB_DIMM needs to be cooled well Thanks for the help, Ill see what cash I can manage and try to buy that system.

The hyper and the motherboard is cheaper on amazon 😛 thz for the help though

Well, Linus's video was right if it was 1 year earlier when the Core architecture was still relevant. Now one will have to look for 5500X chipset or X79 if they want to do the same thing.

Well whoops, built this last year, works awesome when it doesnt have problems. but srsly. u want a s5000psl with 2 5450's?? I got some for sale xD help the fund for a new computer.... xD ehh. well time to save up
