Has anyone had trouble getting the box cleaned out without trying to
jump into it ?

This one is located int he upper levels. It is the room with the guy thatlooks
like he is dressed for coal work. Maybe.

There are a couple of bunk beds around. You also see a roating shaft
in the room surrounded by protective iron work. There is also a large
Hammer object close to one wall.

The chest when you first get to it has one or more arrows stuck into it.

When you open it there is loot inside but of course you must pick the
front locking mechanism.

Well I had to abort the left because I could not get at the loot. I
climed in to the chest/box and "G" could not get out.

The jump key no longer worked. neither could "G" climb out.

Anyone have this happen ?

I typically had to climb into chests to verify that I found
everything. There should have been a "lean-forward" key.
Occasionally I would get stuck in the chest and reload. But
reloads have never been a problem since I quick save regularly.

Yes that happened to me with that exact same box. Poor design there I think.
