Thanks for the heads up. However, if found the demo also at gamershell.com
and found the transfer speed from gamershell using the U.S. east coast
mirror to be faster than that of avault.com. With avault I was only getting
around 60KB/sec but with gamershell I'm getting over 300KB/sec. Anyways,
all I can say is thank God for broadband.

Holy crud, what kind of connection do you have?! My ADSL maxes out
somewhere around 160 kb/s.

cable internet is about 300-400k

Well I've downloaded (finally) and after an hour of playing I have to say
I'm impressed. I won't add more than what other posters have said but it's
certainly very promising.

Just one thing though, has anybody else noticed "flickering walls" - like
they're fully lit one second and the next completely dark? Not like a torch,
more like a flourescent with the starter failing. Is it just the demo
version? Is it just me?

Sadly, cable internet isn't available in my area.

At any rate, the T😀S demo is not coming in at a comparatively slow 50
KB/s.

I noticed that as well. First I thought it was a very unsubtle hint about a
secret entrance, considering they put in loot glint, but it went away when I
put out the torch next to the panel that was flickering. I think it's
supposed to be flickering from the light showing on the wall....

Comcast cable modem.
