Question T3610 upgrading

will a E5-2687W V2 work in my system? also do i need ecc ram or will any ddr3 work? any suggestions on the ram would be appreciated, looking for 32gb or 64gb kit.

As far as im aware it's the orginal motherboard, it came with a e5 1620 v2.

I, and everybody else, has no idea what the original motherboard in that OEM system came with. In order to know what CPU models are supported we MUST know the motherboard model. It should be printed directly on the motherboard itself OR you can do this usually to find it.

Right click the start menu button and click "run" or just click into the run or search box if there is one on your start menu. Type into the run or search box "msinfo32" without the quotes and hit enter. In the right hand pane next to "system model" or "baseboard model" depending on what is shown, should be the motherboard model.
