[SOLVED] T5 ssd and magician issue

Hi,
Magician has trouble seeing my T5 external ssds. I get the following erros (see image)

It says right there that it's unsupported.

The issue might occur if your SSD drive is not added to the supported list. If you have a brand new Samsung SSD model, Samsung Magician utility will not recognize your drive until you update the application to the latest version.

everything is up to date, and these ssds are not that new. Also doesnt recognise the s/n as geniune.

Samsung Magician will run its benchmark tests against my WD SATA connected HDD, but the same tests are not supported for my USB connected WD/HGST drive. Therefore I think the issue is the interface, not the drive itself.

Often the only thing being benchmarked with a Usb SSD is the USB interface or the bridge chip. LoL
Mine tops out at 9xx and is capable of 1500MB/s internally.
