I would not recommend this upgrade. Unless your desired CPU is supported by the BIOS, you are likely to have an expensive paperweight.

Also, the stronger CPU will add more heat and stress to the system. Possibly even more than the system was designed for (assuming it works at all).

Performance wise, you wouldn't see a massive increase in capability either. Some, but not earth-shattering. The other components would not change.

Bottom line, keep your money and stick with what you have. You'll be happier in the long run.
