Question Tablet randomly self-selecting "Power Off" while in use

I have a Pixel Slate running the latest version of Chromium OS.

Recently it has started to bugg out; whenever I hit the sleep button its a 50/50 shot of pulling up the menu and selecting power off.

While not overly detrimental or debilitating it can get quite annoying.

Is this something that can be fixed or am I jut going to have to wait for google to release a OC update and pray that fixes it?

Very few things (if any) can be fixed on Chromebooks. I'd address your question to Google Support, to confirm whether this is software or hardware issue.
