Tablet won't charge

I have a nvidia evga tablet. I noticed that it won't take the charge anymore, I charge it for about 4 hours and when I press on the power to turn it on. It gives me an empty battery logo and the screen won't turn on. When i plug it back to charge it, it indicates that it will take the charge. Again later i tried it again, does the same thing. Is there a problem with the charging port? or the battery? thanks guys.

I had one with the same problem, the micro-USB port is just too shallow. What helped was getting one of the official EVGA cases for it but eventually it just stopped charging altogether and I chucked it in the bin. Hated that thing.

Yeah, literally chucked it in the bin.

sad that warranty is out of date...or i would beg evga to do something about it. But for a fact i know is that the cost of replacing it at a store would cost too much. I am thinking of an ipad air 2. Which tablet do you have now?

The only thing that will help a bit is to get a cheapo case. I haven't had a tablet since that, it put me right off of them lol.
