Tablets connect but laptop does not connect to access point

I recently added a belkin router to our church's wireless network to extend its range and configured it to be an access point. Our tablets connect just fine, but laptops are having trouble connecting.

What should I do?

check the security protocol you are using... Try WPA2 (mixed)/ Personnal and a simple raw word passphrase like "WePrayHere!"

actually trouble shoot it first, turn off security... can the laptops connect? if yes, add WPA2 security, delete the SSID from the laptop (to force discovery) and try it...

Hey just try to configure you laptop network connection, and make sure your airplane mode is not on.
also as corroded told check it.
try to host network using tablet then use it on laptop
