[SOLVED] Taichi x470 and JBL quantum 100.. bad combo

Hello everyone,
I have a nice x470 taichi motherboard.. problem is that my new gift for my birthday (JBL Quantum 100 headset) seems not going fine with it.
In practice the headset itself has only 1 plug... but the x470 taichi wants 2 different plugs, one for voice and one for mic.
So I bought a splitter.. result: I can hear everyone very well but people hear me super low through the mic. Most likely the splitter adds some resistance. What can I do? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks guys!

You do not want to buy a splitter, you need an adapter. If it's a single connector you need a 4 pole to dual 3 pole adapter. If you bought that type of thing already, it may just be faulty or you don't have it plugged in all the way.
