Depends on your sound card. The Tiamat runs off the sound card (or motherboard integrated sound if you don't have a sound card) while the Kraken has it's own built in. If you have a decent sound card for your system the Tiamat is much better, but if you're just running of an average level motherboard's integrated sound then it'll be about the same as the Kraken.
