Hey,
So I decided to get a new PC since my old one is pretty trash and I came up with this, please lemme know what you think:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 3700x 3.6 GHz 8-Core Proccesor
CPU Cooler - Wraith prism cooler ( comes with the cpu )
Mobo - Gigabyte B450 AURUS Pro
Memory - 16 GB ( 2 x 8 ) 3200mh +
Storage - SSD ( 1TB )
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC 8GB
Case -White NZXT H500 ATX
Power supply - 750 W
Case fan - 2 Corsair LL120 RGB LED
Operating System - Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Can't rely on websites. Absolutely must rely on the actual box itself. Any motherboard manufactured before 3000 release will need a bios update, any board manufactured After will not. The website info is fully correct, only for what it is, not for what it can be.

Websites only give values according to generation. A B450 will only give values for 2000 series cpus, not 3000 series cpus unless specifically designed for such, like the MSI MAX versions, ALL of which were built After 3000 series cpu release.

The motherboard itself has nothing to do with ram speeds, the listed ram speeds are only listed because of sales compatability, they basically tell you with the correct cpu for the mobo, this is what will work and has been tested...

That motherboard is probably not compatible with 3xxx series Ryzen without first updating the BIOS.

You should see if that motherboard supports 3600mhz RAM and go with that instead.

What make/model 700x PSU?
Are there any other mobos that aren't super expensive that don't have that problem ?
I'm not sure about the power supply yet thats why I only said 750 W - any recommendations ?

I just checked it and :
Supported RAM Speed - 2133 MHz, 2400 MHz, 2667 MHz, 2933 MHz, 3200 MHz (O.C.) so no 3600.

The problem is that mobo isn't even on the market in my country so i don't really know what I should go for... any other decent mobos that support 3600 ?
also I've read somewhere that for this system atleast 700 W is recommended but idk

You could contact the retailer of that Gigabyte board and asks if it ships with a updated BIOS (there could be a sticker on the box saying so). While 3600/3733 is ideal for Ryzen 3rd gen 3200 would work fine.

As for the PSU it depends on the quality of the unit, I'd easily take a high quality 550W over a low quality 750W any day as it could ruin your parts.

Ill check again if the mobo is available somewhere in my region and ill prob go with the PSU you recommended.
I've heard I would need to update BIOS if I take that motherboard but im not sure about it.

3600 will work on a B450 all day long, with a 3000 series cpu. With a 2000 series expect a serious handicap as the 2000 series capped fclock at 3466MHz, after which it became a 2:1 ratio instead of a 1:1 ratio, and dumps performance in the toilet since mclock (memory clock) is now running at 800MHz instead of 1600MHz.

The box itself will have a big Gold medallion saying if it is 3000 series compatible. That works for ANY motherboard not designed specifically for 3000 series cpus, whether the most expensive Asus ROG, MSI Godlike, or the cheapest POS you can find. Meaning the only boards fully certified are X570, MSI MAX and the upcoming B550. Every other, pot - luck.

Hi, so I was wondering how many fans I would need for my build if I wanna overclock my GPU. please let me know

I currently have 4 total ( 2 from the H500 and 2 Corsair )

That card already has some of the best cooling out. For the overclocking don't expect a lot better performance since it will probably be limited on overclocking because it's already factory overclocked.

From what I have read of the h500 case it's more designed for negative pressure so the extra front fans might and might not help.

In general I don't overclock factory overclocked cards their just not much to gain. If you can get 10% better performance from it then you would go from 60 FPS to 66 not that big of a difference.
100FPS to 110 again not that big of a deal.

Most of the time you can get more than that by just adjusting some in game settings by a little and never notice the difference in looks.

for the cooler, if you want a cheap good hsf, get the Deepcool Gammaxx 400 or GT v2, or Hyper 212 Evo/turbo. if budget isn't your main concern, get the Noctua NH U12A or NH D15.
I don't intend to overclock my CPU so I wasn't thinking of getting a new cooler, this one is still very good ( it comes with the ryzen 7 3700x )

i like it.
The only thing i would change is to mobo and move to the b550/x470/x570 chipset,because it has pci-e 4.0 and much more to offer than b450.Yes MSI B450M MORTAR TITANIUM can support it,but b550/x470/x570 is just better for stability and features.
Also you cant run G.Skill TridentZ NEO 16GB KIT 3600mhz on that board.The speed is 3600mhz and your mobo supports max speed of 3466mhz which must be done by overclocking the ram.The gpu is awesome like everything else in this build :)
