[SOLVED] Take ddr 4 2x8 gb 2666mhz from previous build?

So i was building a whole new pc but the ram I thought can stay in the new build because it will be DDR4 too. Now my friend comes and says that 2666mhz is real bad that I should get 3200mhz. The problem is that ram at my place is like REAL expensive and I personally thing that it is not worth the money because i will like just game on the pc. Can you please give some of your opinions?

Depends on rest of your pc.
For example AMD Ryzen systems are very sensitive to ram performance.
If you were building Intel based system, then there would be significantly less impact.
