Taking apart a asus ep121

I'm wondering how to take the cover off the back of a ep121 without breaking it. My attempts have failed with a small crack in the middle of the 2 usb ports. I'm doing this so i can replace the battery on it with a new one as the one in it is a brick right now.

It's not a traditional "SSD".
Rather, it is an eMMC drive, soldered directly to the motherboard. Looks like any other large(ish) chip on there.

In that article, storage drive is the darker green SanDisk SSD next to the battery.

Main question was how to disassemble said hardware and since solution was given, why hold back the BA selection?
Sure, there can be follow up questions but solved topic doesn't hinder answering them in any way.
