Question Talk talk router HUAWEI HG633 As extender

So I watched some videos to try and figure this out, I changed the routers IP to 192.168.1.7 and changed the said and password to that of my new router and connected via network cable. It worked by extending the range but trying to go to any website says it's insecure and it randomly redirected me to 192.168.1.7 saying that "it looks like you don't have internet" even though I do and I can make Google searches that's it.
 
You likely forgot to disable the DHCP. Look at the many articles of how to use my router as a AP. A extender is not a good term to use because most times that mean you are using it as a repeater. What you are doing is using the router as a AP...which in a way is a extender but it is not commonly called that by professionals in the networking field.
