[SOLVED] Tangling, twisted, stupid headset cord...

Hello guys, I currently own the turtle beach x12 headset and if you know what im talking about then you know the cord for this thing is like a mile long. Its twisted and tangled like crazy. Do you guys have any suggestions? Can i put some sort of sleeve on it? can i cut it down somehow? I read the article about hanging the cord but this cord is literally 15 feet.

My preferred method is to run the cable round the back of something, such as the PC, or the leg of a furniture item, and back to the user.
