Tape Drive SCSI to USB For Windows 7

I have some DDS and VXA tape drives laying around and want to hook them up to my laptop that runs Windows 7 64bit, I was able to connect the drives using an ExpressCard to PCIe adapter and a SCSI PCIe card but I wanted a sleek setup so I got myself a SCSI to USB adapter Castlewood 88205-001 since the seller confirmed it will work with Windows 7 64bit and will be recognized automatically, Well not quite true, Windows detected it as an unknown device. Before I return a $100 investment to the seller is there a way to get this going? I scorched the internet for a windows 7 driver and I couldn't see a shadow of it.
