1. What the meaning of underlined text:

Users with an iPhone X or earlier need to open the Wallet app before tapping the phone against the card
2. What is tap a phone?
Some apps support tapping a credit/debit card against the phone to add it to that app if the card itself is NFC (near field communication) enabled. They are usually indicated as being such by having what looks like wireless signal bars turned sideways.

I still not understand what is supporting of tapping a credit/debit card?

It means physically tapping or placing said card against the back of the phone itself.
What do I do: attach the phone to the card or the scanner to card?
I saw attaching a card of bus to the phone to charge it, so I charge the card with the phone or I charge the scanner (not the phone) with the card?!

There is no "attach".

Just tap the phone against the card, and the 2 devices will share whatever data they need to.

1. What is the difference between tap vs. attach?
or I wonder in the question:
2. what is the difference between tapping to attach (something and leaving it fast)?

I wish to add that there is a substantial difference among British English, American English, and Indian English.

Indian English = Indian languages translated verbatim into English, and in some instances will not make any sense.
