Task bar disappears when using Chrome/Firefox

Hello, bit of a problem I cant seem to find the answer to 🙁

Every time I use Chrome or Firefox my task bar disappears and I have to hit the windows key. Its set to auto hide, but usually after about 2-10 mins it will stay locked in hidden mode.

So, the task bar is either staying hidden or its appearing behind the web browser, I dont know

I've searched for an answer online, it just led me around in circles and nothing worked. A lot of talk about this being a bug that no one is fixing (?)

Its windows 7 Professional SP1

Any help or direction would greatly appreciated

Are you using the browser in full screen mode - if there is a bug can simply size the browser Window to sit just above task bar, uncheck auto hide should keep it available at all times

Yep, I could do that. The thing is, I dont want it available all the time, as in, stuck there and not going into auto-hide.

I would prefer it hidden, but would like it to pop up when I hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen. Its just a very annoying bug, if thats the case. Hoping to find a solution if there is even one.

My head is spinning trying to find a solution, must of looked at 50-100 different forums, pages etc........... o_0

Can't think of anything off hand, I just leave mine up on my rigs and haven't had a client bring it up that I remember

Turns out the taskbar is appearing behind Chrome
