Hi guys!!

I just made a new PC witn 3700X on Gigabyte aorus elite wifi mobo.
My ram is :

Problem is Task manager is not showing ram speed.
Everything else is showing it like CPU Z, RYZEN MASTER, cmd wmic memorychip get speed
are working fine and showing 3600mhz.
I know the ram i memtioned is not on qvl list but in terms of specs it's identical to trident z neo series cl18 ram:

https://mdcomputers.in/g.skill-trid...zXlq4RGOPS6QFd4ahRoF5XDwVsyQ14TgaAnlNEALw_wcB

which is marketed as ryzen optimised. (BS). Tell me if its not ? Actually make any difference?
Also it costs 40% more than what i bought.

I do had a complete clean install of windows 1903 build as i upgraded from a intel platform.
Tell me does it make any difference not showing ram speeds on Task Manager, stability / performance wise ? i can live with cpu z and Task manager can have its issues.
If yes what should i do to fix it? Please suggest.

Solution
Does it show 3600mhz in the BIOS? If so then no worries.

If it shows 2133 in the BIOS then enable (A)XMP, this will make the memory run at the correct speed, voltage & timings. In desktop applications it may come up as around 1800 which would be correct as well since it's DDR (Double Data Rate so 1800x2=3600).

Memory speeds make a big difference with AMD Ryzen (could be a 25+FPS difference in gaming from 2133-3200) so getting it to run at 3600mhz is ideal.

Task manager is often wrong about RAM frequency and most of time shows only it's base frequency. Can you see it in Resource monitor ?
Otherwise "ryzen optimised" is BS alright. DDR4 is DDR4 period. ;)

Nope !! Not in resource monitor either. I tested with few more such as: HwInfo and HwMonitor Both shows speed correctly: 1796.4 MHZ ~1800Mhz

Yes it does show in bios as 3601.8MHZ@1.368V
Only Task Manager and Resource Monitor are exceptions. I tested with HW info and HW Monitor as well they shows it perfectly.
Can you tell Why 0.018v higher than 1.350v? Is it auto adjusting voltage ? Is this normal behavior? Should i set voltage manually to 1.35?

It may be adjusting voltage as needed to maintain that speed but I wouldn't worry about it.

In the BIOS did you manually put those figures in or is that via XMP?
