task manager screw up help

i was having a problem with my pc rebooting while playing games more on that later. i went into the task manager then performance then advanced i checked the pc cores box chose all 8 then i checked the memory box and applied then rebooted got the BSOD now will not restart just death again and again tried to repair with install disk nothing tried to restore to an earlier restore point but no go help

Try booting to Safe Mode and undo the changes.
