Sounds like virus to me....
If you can try to scan your computer with malwarebytes, and than with BitDefender online scan.
http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
If you having trouble try system restore, and than the scans.
I know it is not the best way to do it, but it simple, and you will do no harm :) it will cover most of the cases.
Than you can download and install software like glary utilities.
http://www.glaryutilities.com/
You can run the "click maintenance" and than go to modules>optimize and improve>startup manager. Uncheck unwanted startup items. (you can get some info on the items by rating and description).
It is not professional way to do it...but it a good place to start.
Good luck

Your excess CPU usage is due to too many programs running in the background. You can cut these to barebones by altering your msconfig. Here is how:

1. Open your Start menu.
2. Click Run
3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe"
4. In the "system configuration utility",click either "service" or "startup" tab
5. Uncheck all programs that your are no longer using.
6. Click "OK"

Also, take a look at this thread for more good information and troubleshooting tips!

You may also have a virus, but I hope this helps!
