Question Task Scheduler 1.0 on Windows 7

I have scheduled batch files that print to LPT1. The tasks as set to 'run whether user is logged on or not'.

Recently I imported the tasks from Windows 7 32-bit machine to 64-bit and now the printing to LPT1 does not work. It gets 'The system cannot find the file specified' error (using COPY to print to LPT1).

I can get the print to work if I do one of the following: 1) 'run only when user is logged on' , 2) run batch file outside the scheduler, 3) configure for 'Windows server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000' (problem in that this option only available when setting up new task but not when changing existing task) or 4) 'Run whether user is logged on or not' but only if the LPT1 mapping (net use) is included in the batch file.

Any ideas on why the mapping of LPT1 is not recognized when 'run whether user is logged on or not' ?

Thanks
