Task View Like Screen Constantly Pops Up

The screen shown below keeps constantly popping up on my computer interrupting whatever program was running. This happens even if there is no mouse or keyboard movement. The blank windows shown open up windows apps such as the store, news or sport. I don't know what this screen is called and google is not been my friend. Please can someone tell me how to switch it off?

Have a go with repair install. You'd be best served if you could pass on your full systems specs. Have you made sure your BIOS and remaining device drivers are all up to date? You could try reinstalling your OS though I'd suggest first backing up your critical content(if any) and then create a bootable USB installer to install your OS.

Might I ask if the current installation of your OS is based off a licence key or the free upgrade path?
