[SOLVED] Taskbar, most used icons centered automatically?

Hi,

I think I have seen on Youtube someone setting up their taskbar so that the most used icons centered automatically. Is this possible (or did I misunderstand the video) and how is it done?

PS.

I can't find the video now.

Windows before 11 doesn't have any centering of the Task Bar icons, at least not without a third party shell replacement (if one even touches the task bar).

Windows 11 does have this as a new feature.

I've never seen that for Win 10 or earlier.

Win 11 apparently does this, but it is still in beta. Not full release.


And of course, Apple does this.

there might be other shells that do the same

I haven't even noticed win 11 beta doing that , i know if you add an icon they move to left and move right when closed, but not sure if moves most used to middle. I guess I have too many locked.

I normally have start set to left instead.

perhaps I just misunderstood/imagined what I saw on Youtube. I'll take a look at these "shells" and see what I can find.

shells might be a bit too far, they replace desktop graphical user interface, so its way more than just taskbar, could be too much work.
