Hello all. I have been looking in all the usual places for a solution to this problem with no luck!
While watching any and all video in full-screen (An a browser, with VLC, etc.) the taskbar and cursor will disappear for as it should. But sooner or later (usually sooner) they will both reappear. Now the taskbar stays "hidden", but I can still see the top of it peeking out at the bottom of the screen. If I take the video out of full-screen and then restore it - some thing.... a bit of perfect picture until this irritating interruption.
This issue began a few weeks ago, and may certainly be related to having to do a clean install of my NVidia driver to correct the nvlddmkm.sys error that was causing system crashes.
I was going to try a system restore in an act of desperation, but there is only one restore point from three days ago (!?!?!)
Of course, I have tried all the "easy fixes" like turning on the auto-hide feature on and off, and - No, this has NOTHING to do with the notification area. Also, Running the System File Checker Tool found nothing.
I am slowly going crazy over this. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all!
