I just switched to XP from 2000. When your on the Net in 2000 and have multiple Windows open, the minimized windows set side by side on the Taskbar. In XP there is one window in the task bar for the minimized window and when you click on it, you get a list of all the minimized windows. Is there any way to change this so the minimized windows are side by side like they are in 2000? Also, is there anyway to increase the viewable area for the icons on the left side of the Taskbar? Again, this can be done in 2000 but not in XP.

Simple

Right-click on the Taskbar. Select Properties.

Uncheck "Group similar taskbar buttons"... that will put every single open window on the taskbar.

To increase the size of the quicklaunch bar, uncheck "Lock the taskbar". This will allow you to resize the bar.
