I have been saving some spare hardware and finally put it together and grabbed a new mobo + cpu. Currently it is the following:

Corsair 600T Case
Intel Core i5 2600K
ASUS P8H67-M PRO LGA 1155
Corsair TX750
Supertalent 8gb (2x 4gb) DDR3 1333 memory
WD Velociraptor 300gb 10krpm x2 (RAID0)

Now I am looking at a few cards, and although I am willing to pay the premium costs for higher end cards - I only want to do so if I actually get a worthy performance boost. I'd even consider the 6990 if it didn't sound like a jet engine.

I am looking at the Geforce 580, the 560t, and debating if it is even worth looking at the current line of Radeon products (I had driver issues with them in the past). Or do I wait for the 590 at whatever price range it comes out at.

Thanks for any advice.

I saw the 590 released but seems to be hard to find it in stock for the next few weeks. Though if it is worth buying I will definitely wait.

I mainly play Rift, Dragon Age 2, and soon Crysis 2 so trying to crank up those pixels.
