Do any of you wiz kids out there know of a tweak that will enable me to
steer the cessna while taxiing around the airports?
regards Ted

Just tick the Autorudder box in Aircraft/Realism and then use your
yoke/joystick to steer.

Hope this helps,

Yes Ted. Get a joystick with a twist grip for the rudder and then it's easy!
(Untick "autorudder" in the realism settings). :0))

I think that should read 'easier' :)
I suppose practice makes perfect but the 747 was a doddle after the 172 and
Learjet!

Hi Iain I have a joystick with a twist grip but I recently downloaded a
cessna from realair and steering that around is a doddle. So I thought just
maybe there was a tweak with the config file or something that would make
the default cessna react the same.... oh well :)

Ted.. there is one Aircraft. CFG setting that will adjust the
steering.. but beware, could get a bit squirrelly!!

[contact_points]
point.0=1,-25.91, 0.00, -9.70, 1400, 0, 1.30, 60, < last number

the `last number' in example is the steering angle.. (line truncated)

You can steer your Cessna with Nummeric 0 and + if you do not have a stick.
Also F11 and F12 (brakes) will help.
Just try. Have fun.
