[SOLVED] TDR FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys) during installation of nvidia drivers?

Before this the TDR BSOD only happens once in a while when I exit a game, but now everytime I boot up my PC it goes to desktop, works fine for a minute, then BSOD.

I uninstalled the drivers using ddu, then when I try to install an nvidia driver (tried three different versions: 466.xx, 511.33, and the latest.) after the screen adjusted to the recommended resolution the BSOD pops up not finishing the installation.

Is my card dead or do I just have to refformat my PC?

I would try card in another PC and see if you get same errors, before reinstalling windows.

A sign of a bad card can be if it won't let you install drivers for it.

What model card? How old is it? Any cryptomining done on it?
