Before downloading tf2 : I checked game debate for system requirements and tested if my pc will be able to run it or not, according to GD i can play it on ultra settings with over the game line performance(that means playable fps)
After downloading when I played it : I had really up and down frames, like it goes till 80 but suddenly drops to 15 on default settings, i dont know if thats medium or high or low, but most probably it was medium. Did alot of research, did the registry on ccleaner, verifyed game cache, did almost every thing with the console, after so much of hard work when i launched the game on medium settings i got 30 fps stable but i was kinda sad that my pc can just get 30 fps on medium settings in a game which can run even on core 2 duo
my specs are
core i5 2430m
intel hd 3k graphics 2430m
4gb ram
2.4ghz
windows 7 64bit ultimate (YES ITS A LAPTOP)
Tf2 had some other <Mod Edit> as well, it had the same problem I used to have in gmod, csgo, and cs 1.6
The game freezed at the map loading when the retrieving server info thingy comes .-. Well why? This happened in even cs 1.6! 😡 I seriously hate valve now.
Plus the VAC. I cannot connect to VAC servers, I reboot my pc and it gets fixed i hardly play a game and it comes again, did aloooootttttt of research even saw steam's official fix but it didn't work and i fix this shit only by rebooting my pc-.-
PLEASE GUYS! I LOVE THIS GAME AND I DON'T WANNA STOP PLAYING IT LIKE EVERY OTHER VALVE GAME. PLEASE HELPPP!

It's not your CPU, it's your integrated graphics. HD 3000 is listed among the minimum graphics requirement for the game on the tf2 wiki. Dropping to 15fps occasionally wouldn't be unheard of.

the game runs better "on a core 2" that has a dedicated graphics card better than the HD 3000 IGP.

If you want to game on a laptop around the same price range, I'd suggest trading your laptop for one with a mid to upper range AMD APU.

good luck!

Plus the Intel HD 3000 takes from the RAM. And that game needs RAM, and 4 GB will cause a ton of lag spikes.

You can also build a PC! They can be cheap depending on the one you build. Maybe about $700 for a good PC that could easily run TF2.
