Hi guys, I just bought my 1st gaming PC since few days, but only for now just have to get the RAM to be completed build.

CPU = core i5 8400 with motherboard B360 AORUS Gaming 3

Well, I was going to get this model:
Team T-Force Delta RGB 16GB(2x8GB) DDR4 2666 CL15

But unfortunately it was out of stock currently in my country and it looks like its gonna take much longer time to be available again more than i thought so i started to look for another available one.

Well, anyways a different model just showed up with this time with 3000 Mhz speed and CL16:
Team T-Force Dark 16GB(2x8GB) DDR4 3000 CL16

It's a little cheaper and higher speed, but of course I will be restricted to 2666Mhz cuz it's the max motherboard speed of RAM.

Which is better and highly recommend for the best performance between those 2 (regardless of the dark is a little cheaper) ???

Thanks.

Because your MB can support up to 2600mhz so that it does not matter, when you set the RAM by the XMP profile, they are same except the RGB or non-RGB. So just get the DARK one if you cannot wait, and don't matter they are not the RGB RAM.

Thanks, but is there any difference in performance between CL15 and CL16?

That's sounds great, so when operating both RAMs at 2666Mhz. the only difference here becomes the RGB only, Thank you so much for your help :)

Hey, sorry for that but i have some new question: it's well-known that i have to manually set the RAM speed from 3000 to 2666 at BIOS, my question is: do i have to set its timing too from CL16 to 15 or this is an automatic operation done by just lowering the speed from 3000 to 2666 ??

Sorry but i'm poorly-knowledge about some information because i didn't deal with that motherboard's bios yet, so if i enable the XMP profile and set my RAM speed to 2666, is this going to set the CL to be 15 automatically ??

Yeah i understand this, actually the default timing of the Delta 2666 RAM is the same thing 15-17-17, and to be honest too, most of RAM models don't have full CL15 or full CL16 or whatever timing, just only for the 1st number.

Thank you so so much bro for your time, that was really so helpful to me :)
