hi there
I have had a lot of memory brands on my mobo so far, and the latest of them is Team Group...The model chosen is Team Xtreem Dark 800 CL 4-4-4-12 2.0-2.2v 2GB...
After installing them I entered the bios and started playing with the frequencies and latencies...
I tried 800 cas 4 at 2.1v and after reboot I had memtest errors...plenty of them...then 1066 cas 5 at 2.1, 2.2v...then back to 800 cas 4 2.2v...I still had those damn errors...I have also changed the FSB value and the multiplier value...the only perfectly stable settings are the default ones...800 mhz cas 5 1,8v...and that's that...
Can anybody reccommend some stable settings for this mobo+DIMMs combination? Am I doing something wrong here? Is it a case of incompatibility? Need I think of another mobo or another memory brand and model?
I want to buy another 2 gb kit to have 4 in total, but I am very much discouraged at this point...I am waiting for your opinions, thanks.
The rest of my rig: Core 2 Duo E6400@3200 mhz, 3 x Seagate SATA 2, OCZ GameXtreem 700w, etc...

I tried that, and I found that only one stick gave memtest errors at 800 mhz cas 4 and 2,1v or 2,2v...in all 4 memory slots...the other one was stable...
The curious thing is that at cas 5 and 1,8v neither of them gives any errors...
I ended up trying a pair of Team Group Elite 2 x 2gb 800 cas 5...same there...stable and without errors at standard settings...quite the opposite at cas 4 and 2,1v...
I believe this is a strong case of memory incompatibility between the p965 chipset and these specific memory chips...
For now I'll keep them at stock values...4 gb is 4 gb after all...waiting for vista x64 with SP1 integrated...Should any of you have an answer to this problem, plz post reply...thanks again...
