Teaming Realtek NICS

Is there a way to team two realtek nics in windows 10? The diagnostic utility no longer has that functionality to my knowledge.

In most cases it is a function of the drivers for a non server windows version. I do not know if microsoft has added support to the client version of windows 10 or not.

I suspect they have not because it has little value in a non server type install. First you must have a switch that support it but more importantly you must have a data pattern that will effectively use it.

Rather than post a huge explanation I will just say port aggregation does not support load balance by packet but only load balance by session. It means a single transfer will still only use 1 connection

Microsoft windows client operating systems do not support NIC teaming.

2012 server supports it, not sure about 2008.

Some network card drivers support it as well, probably more expensive intel models.

My model has driver support, but the software only supports through 8, 10 won't install the program.

Eventually I suppose, W10 are still working on the drivers (in general I mean judging by the posts on seemly mundane complaint adapters not working under 10). 10.2? A case of living in the bleeding edge.
