I'm having an issue where when i'm using TeamSpeak and there are people talking, and i use the voice chat in DayZ it also plays the TeamSpeak sounds too. I've tried playing around with the TeamSpeak settings to no avail. Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?

DayZ is not playing the TeamSpeak sounds. The TeamSpeak sounds are playing over your speakers, and your microphone is picking them up along with your voice. DayZ has no way to tell which sounds the mic is picking up are your voice, and which are from TeamSpeak, so it is transmitting them all.

There is no way for the end-user to fix this via software. When you use a single voice chat app, it knows what sounds it's playing over the speakers, so it tries to subtract it from the sounds I gets over the microphone. This is basically what echo cancellation is, and all simultaneous 2-way communications devices (e.g. telephones) do it. But if you're using two different voice chat apps, there's no way to do it unless the two apps are...

You may be able to fix it via hardware. Get a noise cancelling microphone, preferably one which mounts right in front of or right next to your mouth. These are designed to pick up sound primarily from one direction (the better ones also narrow it down to a certain distance). When worn properly, that direction is where your mouth is, so your voice will be a lot louder over the mic than background sounds like the TeamSpeak sounds coming over the computer speakers. Unfortunately, some noise cancelling mics are built better than others. You'll have to search reviews to find a good one. Well, I suppose you could get the Bose noise cancelling headsets used in the aviation industry - those work really well at rejecting jet engine and helicopter blade noise so TeamSpeak chatter should be trivial. But they also cost over $1000.
