TeamViewer connection drops when torrent download starts

I work pretty much 24/7. So i use TeamViewer to connect to my home pc that is running a VPN through PIA.

When i connect to my home pc through T.V and i start say a torrent download from a personal client of mine the torrent downloads. But then my team viewer connection stops. And when i go to recconect it gives me a computer did not connect to router. 5 minutes later i can connect again.

Any idea what is going on?

How much bandwidth does your isp provide u,it is possible that the network reached saturation due to the torrent.Team viewer and the torrent might have reached the max and preferentially kicked teamviewer

I am not sure. I can i find out how much bandwidth I'm given or allowed through ISP?

Yea,the isp should have all the data on your contract,maybe paying for an increase in bandwidth might help

My upload is 6.42Mb/s
My download is 19.22Mb/s

So whats my bandwidth? Or goodput.

I dont think i should be maxing out with these results.
