Does this mean that for all countries not currently affected by the pink Genie the items will be reduced in price "SO SORRY" for the Americans, you reap what you sow.

The important thing will be the final agreements not the initial proclamations.

Personally find the 10% China tariff surprisingly mild, not a strong bold opening move, more a measured diplomatic communication.

IIRC, we're already tariffing China a decent rate and this would be 10% on top of that. Obviously, with NAFTA 2.0 we weren't doing it to Canada.

Depends on how long that takes. There never were any final agreements with China, for instance.

The reason it's smaller is because it's on top of the existing tariffs on imports from China. Don't forget that there's been a pause on tariffs involving electronic products, including PC parts. So, we've never seen the full impact of the original tariffs. If that pause is allowed to expire and has an extra 10%, as well, the impact on electronics and a lot of PC components will be quite substantial.
