I have a Q*bert that has had a switching power supply installed along
with the original.

It was working for some time, then I plugged it in, heard the knocker,
and nothing.

Now nothing at all when I plug it in.

I tested the switching power supply outside of the game and it seemed
fine. When everything is hooked up no power is getting to it.

All of the fuses seem fine. I checked on the power brick and the power
supply board. I tested for voltage at the first slam switch and it
seems fine.

There is visable damage to my power supply board, and I don't know if it
was there before, I didn't really inspect the machine when I first got
it. R21 is missing. R22, R12, and R14 are clearly damaged.

I can easily replace those items, but wonder if there is anything else I
should check...and not sure if that is the cause since I don't think any
voltage is getting there in the first place.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appriciated, thanks!

Sounds like the Zener Diode on the +30 on the power supply board.

I believe R12 and R14 are in the +5 circuit. You aren't using them if you
are using the switching power supply. R21 and R22 are in the +30 circuit.
You might want to check your transistor at Q11, and the 30W zener diode at
D26. That is a well known failure spot, and some people replace it with a
27w diode.
