My wife and kids got me a new game for my birthday - It's a Time Pilot
in a Phoenix cabinet. Made by Canturi 1982 - When we turn it on, we can
hear the game play but no picture on the monitor. They told me that the
previous owner said that the monitor used to work but kept getting
dimmer and dimmer until it finally went dark. Where should I look
first? This is the first NON ATARI cabinet I have worked on and not
sure what does what. There is a large transformer in the bottom of the
cab, looks like 2 heavy wires come from it to the board on the monitor.
I haven't checked for voltage yet because I'm not sure where to check
it and what it should be. The fact that it kept getting dimmer should
be a clue but I have no idea what it might mean. Does it mean anything
to you guys? Any help would be appreciated, thanks...
