[Tech Issue] Display 1 and Display 2 swapped

I turned on my computer today to find that display 1 become display 2 and vice versa.

When I go into the screen resolution setting in windows 8 it seems as if my left monitor which was display 1 is now display 2.

So physically in front of me the monitor on the left is shows as the monitor on the right in windows.

I can change which one is the primary display but if I just do that it makes my main display the one on the left but to get to the display on the right i need to move my mouse all the way to the left.

I have no idea what caused this issue

I do not want to just move the monitors because the left monitor is larger then the right one. I also cannot just change the cabling because one monitor has DVI and the other does not and the connector for the adapter doesn't fit in the other DVI plug

WinVer: Windows 8 64 bit version 6.2 build 9200
Asus 7870HD Driver version 9.2.0.0
Display 1 which is currently display 2 is Samsung S24B150
Display 2 which somehow got changed to 1 is Acer G236HL

Any help would be appreciated

I have already tried uninstalling the display drivers via the device manager then reisntalling them without sucess

Wow after all the searching the live support with windows I finally manged to figure it out.

In the screen resolution where it shows the display 1 and display 2 in a graphic. you can drag and drop their order there. I still do not know what caused the problem.
