Does anyone know for certain which type of RAM is used in Joust 2? I'm
getting a 1-0-5 error on the ROM board, am I correct that like the original
Joust this is a RAM error (or faulty socket)?

If replacing the RAM doesn't work is there anyone who works on these boards?
Does anyone know of any sites with good technical information on Joust 2?
I've found the pinouts at various sites, and information on converting to
Inferno, but that's about it.

Joust 2 and Mystic Marathon are practically identical as far as boards,
wiring, etc., so if you cannot find a Joust 2 manual in .PDF I'm sure
there is one for Mystic Marathon that would work.

Being a Williams game, you'll find many of the same parts between Joust
and Joust 2, just different wiring/board layouts.

As an aside, anyone else think it's hilarious that so many game sound
effects get reused between their pinball games and their arcade games?

Funny! Was just thinking the same thing about 10 minutes ago playing
Robotron.

-Saving the humans is the exact same sound as picking up an egg in
Joust

-The fast droids fireballs use a sound lifted directly from Black
Knight.

I believe there is only an eight page operations guide that exists for Joust
2. I have an original copy that I'm going to scan and post on my site, and
try to get up on KLOV. Unfortunately it doesn't have much technical
information.
