hi, other nerd here but sometimes i overthink things!..
My i9 9900k sits at approx 50-60 degrees on my most taxing game..(a plagues tale requiem) Does anybody think i should upgrade to water cooling from my arctic air cooler?
I have researched a bit and most people seem to get temps of 30-50deghrees on taxing games.
Its really just opinions i'm looking for for people who have upgraded themselves.
Generally have you seen any improvents on games or do we just sit back and gloat in our lovely water coolingness glory?
What are the thoughts?

Nothing wrong with those temps anything under 80C on Intel is fine even a bit higher under certain loads.

What is your objective?
Your current cooling is more than adequate.
Gaming does not put as much of a heat load as does multithreaded batch apps.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If you think it would look good, then go for it.

But, be aware that aio cooling does not last forever.
Mechanical pumps fail or get clogged.
Air eventually intrudes and you have to replace the cooler.
Think 5 years.

Thanks team. The temps seemed ok to me, I think it's my airflow through the case that I have planned that's helps.
I was toying with idea as it would look lovely but the "don't rock the boat" is exactly on my line of thinking.
I'll stick with what I have.
All the best.
