I recently recieved a message when logging on my computer that....THE FILE OR DIRECTORY C:\Documents and settings\-is corrupt and unreadable to please run chk dsk utility.
I've seen this message in the past about other things being corrupt or unreadable!
I was wondering if it's possibly a hard drive error or something someone may be doing, after all others use this computer? It's a very - very small 6.gig hard drive that I have!
I appreciate anyones input on this matter!
THANKS

It could be your Hardrive is going bad. But before buying a new drive try every option available.
1. A full scandisk
2. Defrag
3. Virus Scan

If those dont work try Fdisking, Reformat and reinstallation of the OS. After that if your still having problems, get a new drive.

Blah, Blah Blahh, Blahh, blahh blah blahh, blah blah.
