During the first unofficial day of Microsoft's TechEd 2006 conference in Boston, we got a first idea how programmers will be able to embed their own .NET functions, such as from Visual C#, directly in the new ribbon of Microsoft Office 2007 - one of Microsoft's first applications ever to completely replace the venerable menu bar.
