I just got my new Tecknet m268 gaming mouse in the mail today, and it will not work. I plugged it in, all of the lights came on, but I was not able to click or move the cursor. Within maybe ten seconds of plugging it in, the red sensor light turns off. When I open windows devices, it says "DRIVER ERROR" under the mouse. It is not supposed to have any drivers. I really like the mouse, so if someone could help me, that'd be awesome.

have you tried removing the mouse, re-booting the PC and inserting it again? There must be some driver (even if auto-installed from Windows Update) to support it. All USB devices need a driver to tell the OS what type of device it is at the very least. Usually Window takes care of this "under the covers" but sometimes things glitch.

Failing that, contact their Support organization.

I have done this multiple times, but it still refuses to work. I just contacted them, and am now waiting on an answer. Thank you, anyway, though.
