Tecknet Raptor Pro mouse Software will not work.

I have recently been having issues with my mouse freezing randomly while playing video games and decided to reinstall my driver software to see if it could fix the issue. After downloading the updated software I was unable to open the software with the error message "gaming mouse is disconnected".
My mouse is the TeckNet Raptor Professional gaming mouse.

Never heard of that company. Is it a cheap mouse? Unfortunately, when you purchase cheap peripherals, this is what happens. I would suggest a new mouse.

It is a fairly cheap mouse but almost all reviews were good and it has been working perfectly before now. they are not a massive company but they make mostly good products, maybe my mouse is bad not sure.

Download the driver for tecknet GM 299 from the list on this website:
http://www.tecknetonline.com/download/MouseKeyboard/

It fixed it for me! For some reason, the driver downloads on their website didn't do it for me
