I just installed msi afterburner, and i used the CPU temp's option to display on screen.
Is it accurate? and if not can someone recommend a program that displays on screen to see temps and how to enable them?
Well so far, the temps from inside the game and outside the game seems pretty much the same, what makes it hard to compare them side to side that i don't have a 2nd monitor yet.
Some of those tools can be set to log temperature. Also should have max and min. Max would be what you want to look at.
MSI afterburner is for GPUs, but has little charts that last for 60 seconds or so, they can be helpful to see throttling. It will have CPU usage and temperature I believe.
It dies have CPU temps, all for cores.
Plus i don;t want the max temp, i want the current temp of CPU while playing a game or something
Some monitoring tools doesn't have on display option which makes it useless if you ask me.

Something I use is called Speccy. Pretty nice thing, shows all your firmware and hardware, temps too in C or F. If you have an ASUS mobo you also have their "AI Suite" https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
