Temp rise quickly while gaming.

Hi. I recently brought an used graphics card from ebay. Zotac gtx 1050 2gb. It working very well. But its temperature always at 55-60 celcius at normal. But while gaming it reaches upto 95 Quickly in almost 20 seconds..

So i opened it and what i get.... Instead of thermal paste. Their is some type of pink gum. And wow i found its problem. But gum is very sticky. How i clean it from gpu chip. And cooler too. I ordered a new thermal paste from cooler master. For my gpu.

Isopropyl alcohol should be ok to clean it with, but I'm not sure exactly what this pink gum is so it may not work. Worth a shot though. Could you post a picture?

Ok. Well if you're reasonably careful then using rubbing alcohol won't hurt to try.

I'd say just the alcohol and a paper towel or something. Don't really want anything with fibers because they could come off and land on the board. Maybe something like a toothpick if it's really thick in some places? As long as you're gentle.

Great i removed this gum. And applied new paste now my gpu temp near 35 celcius. ....

Wow wow wow.... While playing it only reaches only 55*c thanks friends....
